So I have a bit of an odd question. I was confirmed in the Episcopal Church last year, and I am newly engaged. My fiance is not Episcopalian (she's Disciples of Christ), and we've decided to stick to the Episcopal Church as a good via media between my interest in Catholicism and hers in Liberal Protestantism. I'm currently working for about a year before heading out to graduate school. At that time, we'd like to join an Episcopal Church. She would like me to go through the Inquirer's Class/Confirmation class with her in the future so we do it as a couple. My question is: Can I be "reconfirmed" or renew my membership in the TEC at the same time she is confirmed? I think it would be good for our relationship to do so, but I was wondering if that is possible. I would ask a rector, but I'm currently in a small town with no local Episcopal church, so I'm kind of out of luck. Any advice would be great!

Welcome to Episcopal Voices!
Confirmation, like baptism, is a one-time thing. That said, you can absolutely attend classes together(I've attended Inquirer's Classes several times since my own confirmation).
At the time your fiance is to be confirmed, you can be "received into the congregation"(if it's a new one to you) or "reaffirm your commitment to Christ". Either option involves standing before the congregation and receiving the laying on of hands by the bishop, just like the confirmand.
Check out pages 309-310 of the BCP for details.
Hope this helps!
