an Episcopal Priest and/or Bishop?
I am an attorney and represent some members of the clergy in minor matters. As a Catholic I know how to address our clergy in formal correspondence, but I don't want to make any assumptions and commit a faux pas.
Thanks

For a male priest "Father" so and so. For a male bishop, 'Father' or 'Bishop' so-and-so. (Using last names for formal correspondence.) If the priest is a woman, often addressing her as 'Mother,' is used, but that depends on the person. You'd have to ask the individual in cases like that to ask what they prefer.
Titles: The Reverend So-and-so, or the Reverend Dr. so-and-so if they have a PhD. For a bishop: The Right Reverend (or Rt. Rev.) so-and-so.
There are a number of other manners of address you're not likely to run into. For the dean of a cathedral, their title is "The Very Reverend..." and are addressed as "Dean so-and-so".
