Let us pray for each other that we might have a safe and happy Thanksgiving. And let us remember to give thanks to God for the blessings of this life, for friends and family, and for God's love to us that we are accepted as his children.
I for one, am thankful for Angli-fan who has provided us with this board. There's almost a sense of wandering in the wilderness since the demise of EpiscoTalk as he had to set up a board fairly quickly, and then adjust the forum due to the slings and arrows directed at the board in recent days.
Thanks, Angli-fan, for your hard work.

Weeeelllll, it's a terribly unseasonable time to have Thanksgiving, if you ask me. We civilized Canadians hold it at just the right time (mid-October) . Silliness aside, I am also grateful for this board to share my struggles and my thoughts. As an outlet, it has been quite productive. As a time-management tool, not so much . Peace, Phil

I quit smoking after 35 years. It was an addiction. It took me 2 years of off and on, failing more than succeeding. But perish the thought that I had to quit this board cold turkey. Does anyone have a patch? And, Phil, isn't October up there like November down here? I mean, for the last month we have heard our weather guys talking about the "mass of cold air coming down from (where....)? Although, much could be said for the volumes of hot air generated down here.
