Here's an article about a non-Mormon polygamist in Utah.
I'll point out one error of the article. It speaks of 'polygamy without the Book of Mormon.' The Book of Mormon does not really countenance polygamy - in fact, it is forbidden in the Book of Jacob unless God explicitly prescribes it. Mormons have a hard time rationalizing this, as well as the fact that the Book of Mormon's theology is Trinitarian, a little-known fact.
Two questions: (1) is the polygamist's rationalization of polygamy unbiblical and (2) if so, what should our approach with scripture be in order to prevent such error/sin?
